Q: How can i send commands to the gps (via uart) ? i tried to send commands like standby("$pmtk161,0*28") but it seems to do nothing. are there docs?

A: No , it can give only in UART communication that is TX and RX , it does not have magnetometer/compass IC , so it does not required I2C data transfer
