Connection:

BMP180 sensor --> Arduino UNOR3 development board

VIN --> 5V
GND --> GND
SCL --> A5
SDA --> A4

How to test the I2C address for BPM180 sensor?

Follow above connection to wire the BPM180 with UNOR3 board, and then connect the UNOR3 to the computer via USB cable.

Open your arduino IDE, and go to the File-->Examples-->Wire-->i2c_scanner.

Choose board and COM port in Tools before you upload. And then you will get the i2c address when you open Serial Monitor.

Note: if the test result is that i2c address not found in the device, it very likely means that the board you got not function well.



How to test the BPM180 sensor with arduino UNOR3?


 1, Install SFE_BMP180 Library if you don't have it.


You can download the ZIP file from below link:

Rename the ZIP file from MP180_Breakout_Arduino_Library-master to BMP180_Breakout_Arduino_Library

Then, Click Sketch-->Incude Library-->Include .ZIP Library...

2, go to the File --> Examples -->SparkfunBMP180 -->SFE_BMP180_example.

3, go to the Tool, choose the board and COM port.

4, upload the code.

5, open the Serial Monitor, choose the baud rate matching the one in the code, should be 9600, and you will get the output data.
If the baud rate is not matching, the output data maybe not correct and not readable.
